    Overview

The Princeton Summer Journalism Program (PSJP) offers a free, innovative journalism and college prep institute for high achieving high school juniors from low-income backgrounds. Our goal is to diversify college and professional newsrooms by encouraging outstanding students from low-income backgrounds to pursue careers in journalism.

Typically, the Princeton Summer Journalism Program welcomes 40 high school students from low-income backgrounds to Princeton's campus for an intensive, 10-day seminar on journalism. However, for the summer of 2021, the program will run virtually over seven weeks. Visit our website to review last summer's virtual program schedule: psjp.princeton.edu
