My experiences gained from attending Powerful Youth were valuable and memorable. I learned skills that I never thought I would learn and since returning home have been able to use as a leader. Powerful Youth showed me where being a leader can take me and just how a dream can really become a reality if you have passion for the project. Powerful youth was an amazing opportunity for me to meet new friends, gain independence and advance my leadership skills to make an impact in my community!
- Megan from Canada - March 25, 2021Thanks to ?Powerful Youth?, now I know that the meaning of leadership it's not what I thought in first place, being a good leader is more that giving instructions to someone, it's knowing the necessities other team members might have, it's being able to hear others opinions, necessities, and contributions to the team, and the most important it's that being a good leader is making other people work because they want to not only because you are making them Thanks to Powerful Youth and their staff, I constructed a dream project, where we all put our effort to plan it and in some way make it true. Powerful Youth was the best summer experience I've ever had, I developed new qualities as a better leader and as a person. It strengthened the qualities that I had as a leader and taught me new ones. I visited a new country, made new friends, and learned about a new culture. Without a doubt, I would attend it twice.
