We invite students entering grades 10-12 to experience the richness of architectural past, present, and future. Participants are encouraged to bring their curiosity and creativity as they learn about the built environment and develop the skills and appreciation for a sustainable future. Activities include design studio, workshops, seminars, field trips to building sites, and visits with local architects.
This summer overnight pre-college program is a great opportunity for high school students entering grades 10-12 interested in a career in architecture and the college experience.
In addition to learning about the role of an architect, software used by architects, and the design process, students will tour the Penn College campus, downtown Williamsport, and the historic district. A site visit to Larson Design Group is also included along with dinner at Stone House Pizza.
