    If you are looking for activities to keep the "I'm bored" summer blues at bay, Penn State Berks summer camps are for you. Our academic themed camps will challenge participants and provide hands on activities so they can learn first hand about the subject matter.

    Computers and Cyber Security Camp
    This camp is for students who like working with computers and will expose students to computer security/information assurance careers.

    Engineering Camp
    Participants will explore basic engineering concepts, develop, design, and construct air-powered cars, paper/rubber-band powered airplanes, and model rockets. They will utilize sofware, including RocSim, to analyze performance of rocket-powered vehicles.

    Forensic Science Camp
    Students will take part in a week long science camp involving the role science plays in crime solving investigations. A true hands on experience for those thinking about a career in law enforcement or for those that think a career in research is for them.

    Veterinary Science Camp
    This camp is for those who want to make animal science a career choice. Hands-on lab time plus field trips to a dairy farm, a veterinarian's office and a horse rescue make for an unbeatable experience.

    Water: A Liquid for Life
    Participants will experience careers related to water; emphasis is on hands on learning through exploration of field sites, conducting scientific testing, researching environmental issues, and meeting people with a diversity of environmental careers.
