Music Theater Works: YouthREACH Teen Company

YouthREACH Teen Company's Star Struck! summer program is where teens ages 13 to 18 perform Broadway Classics, and present a final performance with costumes, sound and lights, on the same professional set as the Music Theater Works' adult production of the show. 

Stage Struck is an immersive dive into four of Musical Theater’s best-loved shows. Detailed scene work will be paired with training in four different styles of singing and dancing. Every teen will get a part, based on their spring audition. There’s something for everyone! It will all culminate in one final performance for friends and family. In addition, masterclasses in audition technique will be held, along with visits from professional stage artists.

Music Theater Works' YouthREACH Teen Company Star Stuck requires an audition, which will be scheduled after you register. 

Who can attend 

Serious teens age 13 to 18, who want to work like the professionals. Students learn with Chicago-area professional musical theatre directors, choreographers, and music directors...plus special guest directors, musicians and actors...to gain insight into the theatrical process.
