Manhattan Film Institute : Filmmaking Intensive for Teen Actors
WHAT’S IN STORE FOR ACTORS
- Faculty & Staff assist and coach filmmakers in the prep, shoot and edit of 10 short films
- Every Actor will have a role in 1 film AND have a monologue shot by an MFI cinematographer
- Every Director will direct a short film, be assisted in the editing process, and leave MFI with a rough cut
- Actors & Directors learn to crew in key positions on a film set (collaboration is required at MFI
- Actors learn to work with Directors / Directors learn to work with Actors
- Actors will have a master class in film technique and the audition process
