Considering a science degree? Students entering 11th or 12th grade in the New York area can get a head start at the Summer Science Academy at Lehman College throught the CollegeNow program offered by a collaboration between CUNY and the NYC DOE. Successful College Now students can start their first semester in college with up to fifteen college credits – or, at minimum, begin college without remediation.
Biology and Chemistry are prerequisites for premedical, pre-veterinary, and pre-dental programs, and Physics is a foundation for studying engineering. Mornings will be spent in a lecture, and afternoons working in Lehman's state-of-the-art science labs. These six week intensives will prepare you for rigor of college science courses, and help you get on track to complete your degree.
