During this program, students will be challenged to look beyond classical ballet and find freedom in their movement. Every day, there will be ballet and point classes designed to create a strong technical base, from which students will be able to build individual styles and compositions. With the instruction from the esteemed faculty, students will improve their technique and have the opportunity to join the end-of-program performance at the El Portal Theater! Students can expect classes focusing on classical technique, pointe, contemporary dance, modern dance, improvisation, pilates, and progressive ballet technique. Throughout the camp, students also have the opportunity to reside at the Hampton Inn & Suites, which is walking distance from the dance studios. Students who choose to live in the hotels also have access to site tours, world-class workshops, and museum trips.
