Throughout this program, students will work with a dedicated, talented faculty and receive plenty of individualized feedback. The Joffrey Ballet School aims to create an encouraging environment, which is ideal for aspiring dancers who may be inexperienced and lack professional guidance. Every day, there will be multiple classes focusing on ballet technique, pointe, variations, jazz, and more. This program also dedicates time to conditioning, yoga, and stretching to minimize injuries. Furthermore, students ages 10 and up have the opportunity to stay at the residence halls of the Unversity of Georgia. This gives them the chance to make connections, explore the city, and enjoy student life events such as workshops and dance productions. In all, this intensive is a spectacular opportunity that will surely provide students with the tools necessary to grow as individuals and as dancers.
