In Ithaca College's residential pre-college summer program, high school students experience college life and college-level courses while living in a safe environment. The Summer College for High School Students can choose a course from diverse areas of study. Our courses are designed and reserved expressly for pre-college students.
High school students participating in our Summer College program will select one course, learn how to work with college faculty, and earn three undergraduate credits.
Students can choose their course from the following tracks:
- Environmental Studies
- Health Sciences and Human Performance
- Music, Theater, and Dance
- Summer Theater Conservatory
- Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math
- Writing
During this three week program, students will live in the residence hall under the guidance of supportive faculty and Resident Advisors (or "RA's"). Our RA's are peer leaders who encourage community-building, peer-to-peer connection, and who provide regularly-scheduled social activities when students are not in class.
