Our three-week all-inclusive summer school programme in St Andrews offers 13 - 18-year-olds from all over the world the chance to combine learning, creative enrichment and action-packed adventure at Scotland's top university. Places are limited to 10% of students from any one nationality and we mix native and non-native English speakers at all times so that our students are guaranteed a truly international experience.

Students choose one academic and one elective and will spend their evenings and weekends taking part in our activities programme and going on cultural trips.

Our top-quality academic summer school programmes are designed to cater specifically to the needs of international students. Classes meet for 3 hours each weekday morning and are taught by our highly qualified team of teachers who are all experienced, working professionals in their fields.

Each student combines their academic class choice with one of our unique, elective courses which meet for four afternoons each weekday. These fun-filled and action-packed classes enable our students to discover exciting new hobbies or develop existing skills while learning from our expert team of professional coaches and teachers.

In addition to our exceptional academic and elective classes, all of our students will take part in our varied and exciting evening activities, clan events and cultural trips to nearby cities. Every event has been designed for our students to have fun, explore what the local area has to offer and get to know their fellow ISSOS students from around the world.
