Intercultura Summer Camp offers true cultural immersion with fun, dynamic Spanish classes, local homestays, a jungle lodge at the beach campus, daily cultural activities, service-learning, and adventure tours. Our internationally recognized programs are fully insured, featuring a 1:8 student-to-staff ratio and credentialed professors & trip leaders.

We believe that immersion experiences truly change a person, offering new perspectives and mind-opening opportunities to understand what it means to be part of a global community. Teens learn cross-cultural, empowered communication skills through hands-on experience interacting with Costa Ricans from all walks of life. They are pushed to step out of their comfort zone and explore concepts of social responsibility and intercultural intelligence as they move closer to their goal of Spanish fluency. They also develop teamwork and leadership skills, learning how to become an agent for positive change and increasing their confidence to navigate the quickly changing culture of our world.
