    Overview

    INROADS is a non-profit organization that creates pathways to careers for ethnically diverse high school and college students across the country. The INROADS Internship Program works at the college level to prepare talented diverse students across the country for corporate readiness with business soft skills, real world leadership development activities, academic and career support, and an opportunity for a paid internship.

    INROADS seeks high performing students for internship opportunities with some of the nation's largest companies. Our rigorous career development training process will challenge you to commit to excellence and raise the bar on your personal expectations.

    Internships are highly competitive. 

    Government Internships - All college majors are welcome to apply to opportunities with local, state, and federal government agencies.

    Healthcare Industry Internships - This HBCU Health Equity Internship Program is offered in partnership with Propel Center and Black Directors Health Equity Agenda (BDHEA) is designed for African American students wishing to persue careers in healthcare administration and other related careers.

    Sustainable Communities Internships - These internships helps eligible HBCU students achieve academic success while preparing scholars for fulfilling careers focused on solving our communities’ most pressing problems. Open to students attending HBCUs in Alabama, Georgia, Illinois, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Virginia.

    Pronghorn Spirits Academy - Offered in partnership with Inroads, this hands-on experience gives interns the chance to explore and understand the adult beverage industry. This opportunity is available to juniors (21 years or older) completing a BS/BA in business, sales, marketing, communication, retail, or category management.
