    Overview

Greenwood Trails is a true camp community. We celebrate the uniqueness that each individual brings to camp, while also recognizing the common ground we all share. The dedicated staff at Greenwood Trails fosters a caring atmosphere where campers feel comfortable being themselves, and where genuine friendships are nurtured. Campers are encouraged to treat each other with respect, support one another, and live with integrity.

This foundation of character creates a warm, positive community where everyone feels welcome.

Every day is a new adventure at Greenwood Trails. Our extensive range of activity options offers campers incredible ways to grow and have fun. As campers take on new challenges and enjoy old favorites, they develop their skills and confidence, all while having the time of their lives.

Our choice-based PROGRAM is built around our four trails – athletics, arts, adventure and aquatics. In addition, we have exclusive Greenwood Trails activities created by our very own counselors. As you’ll see below, the broad range of activity choices offers something for every camper every day!

Campers have six 50-minute activity periods each day, and each camper is allowed to customize the majority of their schedule. Two of the daily activity periods are different for our Lenape Division (8-12 year olds) and Delaware Division (13-16 year olds).

Counselor-In-Training (CIT) Program – ages 15-16: The CIT Program is optional and requires an application and interview. CIT Program is 7 weeks, although a minimum of 5 weeks can be done with approval of the camp director. Campers who are 15-16 years old do not have to participate in the CIT Program and are welcome to attend as regular campers.
