    Overview

    This course is designed to teach students grades 6-8 both the fundamentals of building financial literacy as well as help them develop a healthy relationship with money.

    We strongly believe that you must view your money as a relationship that should be continuously nurtured and it’s best to start working on that relationship as early as possible! In this course students will learn essential financial literacy topics such as:

    • creating and monitoring a budget
    • saving and having an emergency fund
    • investing money
    • building credit and borrowing loans
    • good debt vs bad debt
    • paying taxes
