DIYA Research is a non-profit organization that aims to educate young and curious minds to conduct research on social problems using data analysis. Through computer programming, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and visualization tools, we provide data-inspired ideas and insights for social good.
The DIYA summer program provides students an opportunity to learn data science basics and apply machine learning to real-life problems. Students conduct foundational research working with university professors and industry professionals. The program provides an excellent opportunity to interact and learn from experts in the field of data science.
DIYA Research offers unique programs to high school students:
Data Science Exploration: a two-week online program designed to introduce students to the concepts of data science. Students will attend online lecture and hands-on assignments.
Data Science Bootcamp: a three-week program that provides students with a foundation in Python programming, data analysis, and visualization. Students will attend online lectures and work on assignments during online lab sessions.
The DIYA Exploration and Bootcamp is open to all high school students.
