During this four-week program, students will experience what life is like for DigiPen college students who are working on completing their degrees. Depending on the chosen track, students will immerse themselves in the roles of programmers, game designers, artists, music and sound designers. DigiPen Academy’s curriculum provides students with an innovative and pioneering combination of practical, hands-on project experience combined with strong academics.
DigiPen Academy is the K-12 sibling of DigiPen Institute of Technology, which has been turning talented college-age students into exceptional engineers, artists, designers and video game creators for more than three decades. During this four-week program held in July at our Redmond, WA campus, students can expect to receive a strong foundation in the academic fundamentals in their chosen track in Game Designers, Art & Animation, Computer Science, or Music & Sound Design. Please visit our website for a detailed description of each program offered.
Students receive grades for their Pre-College classes, plus a final transcript to include in their application to DigiPen. Any student who completes the Pre-College Program and matriculates to DigiPen Institute of Technology within three years will receive a credit equal to the Pre-College Program tuition to apply toward their first-semester tuition as a freshman.
