    Overview

The Danforth's Summer Arts Program believes Creativity Grows Here! Explore nature as art in many mediums— drawing, painting, sculpture, and more—inspired by the natural world and by artwork on view in our Museum galleries.

Classes are taught by professional artists; many Danforth Art instructors also teach art in local colleges such as the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Montserrat College of Art, Mass College of Art and Design, Rhode Island College and Framingham State University. High school students are also invited to take adult studio classes with permission of instructor.
