    Overview

SuperNOVA's week-long day camps primarily take place during the months of July and August. Our camps introduce participants to STEM concepts, careers, and mentors through fun experiments and innovative hands-on activities. Summer day camps are typically held on Dalhousie University's campus, but we may also partner with numerous community-based organizations across Atlantic Canada to bring the SuperNOVA camp experience to youth throughout the region in their own communities.

Camp projects and activities are developed and delivered by undergraduate university students and are designed to match participants' grade level, interests, and abilities. Program curriculum is updated annually so campers can enjoy a new SuperNOVA experience every year.

    Campers can expect to enjoy:

    • Hands-on experiments and projects
    • Design and build engineering challenges
    • Exciting visual demonstrations
    • Games and physical activities
    • Tours of labors and other facilities
    • And so much more!
