    Overview

Youth Summer Learn to Row is the perfect way for boys and girls ages 12–18 to get on the water, try something new, and build confidence—all while having fun. Designed for beginners, this exciting program teaches the basics of rowing in a supportive and active environment.

Participants start in stable barges, learning to row as a team, then move to eight-person boats on the Charles River. They’ll also get the chance to learn to steer and lead from the coxswain (boat driver) seat.

No experience is needed—just a willingness to try something different. Learn to Row is the first step in an incredible journey that can lead to advanced rowing and even competition. Join us and discover what you’re capable of!
