Open the door to a delightful and meaningful summer for your child. Come experience the magic of Challenge Camp, Westchester’s premier day camp for bright, curious children.
Our campers have a fantastic summer, letting their imaginations soar on our picturesque 18-acre campus in Rye, New York. There are no “empty calories” on our tempting plate of summer activities, filled with tasty helpings from the worlds of technology, sports, math and science, history, gaming, arts and crafts, photography, and performing arts — from computers, robots and architecture to fashion design, music, cooking and much, much more.
In addition to returning favorites, we are introducing morning workshops designed to stimulate the imagination of our campers. These selections include: Curious Chefs, Seussville, Art of Science, How Things Work, The Verdict, Homegrown Drones, Game on Automaton, Smart Money, Gizmos and Gadgets, Top Gun and theater productions, “Oliver” and “The Adventures of Flat Stanley”. We are introducing an innovative thematic approach to Pre-K learning with our Discover, Imagine and Create program.
The Afternoon Challenge features our outstanding sports program including the introduction of Capoeira and Taekwondo with the continuation of our popular Fencing and Swim programs. We are also introducing new enrichment classes this summer: Code Central Station: HTML, Python, Java and Tynker, Lego WeDo, Game Show, La Petit Prince, Cookie Monster, Yellow Submarine, Viva La France!, Mangia and Zen Art are some of our exciting new additions.
Become a Counselor or CIT
Challenge Camp is always looking for bright, athletic and enthusiastic individuals to be Counselors. Counselors assist our instructors and participate in camp activities while interacting with all campers.
Our Counselor in Training program is an opportunity to learn and train to become a counselor in the Challenge Camp environment. Full summer CIT’s will receive CPR and First Aid certification.
