COUNSELOR IN TRAINING
The Counselor-in-Training program is for 9th and 10th graders who are truly interested in learning to develop their leadership skills.
While our CIT program is popular, it is not for everyone!! Although counselors-in-training are still technically be a campers, which means they still have the opportunity to have fun and do some of the things they like at camp, they have more responsibility and are expected to do much more as a CIT. Busy Parents: Camp Ursa Major is here for you!
Camp takes place from 9:00 to 3:30 each day, but there’s even more growth, learning and friendships to be found in XTRA Camp! Enjoy the flexibility of dropping your child off between 8:00 and 9:00 am, or picking them up between 4:00 and 5:30 pm. During this time, XTRA Campers are organized into smaller groups and take part in a variety of activities. These may include arts & crafts, sports & games, teambuilding, drama, or even putting together special projects for the rest of camp.
