Camp STAR is an award-winning summer treatment program for children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and related disorders.
This unique seven-week camp allows children to enjoy fun, recreational activities while helping them improve social behavior, learn problem solving skills and boost self-esteem.
Camp STAR is based on the evidence-based Summer Treatment Program (STP) developed by William E. Pelham, Jr., Ph.D. for children ages 6 – 13 years old. STP provides treatment tailored to children’s individual behavioral and learning needs and Camp STAR is one of only 12 programs that follow the award-winning STP.
Camp STAR blends typical camp activities with individualized treatment plans, educational services, parent training sessions, and pharmacological evaluations to create a meaningful and memorable summer camp experience.
