The original Camp Flintlock program, our Residential Summer Camps teach children ages 9-15 about life in the American Colonies. At our Four Oaks campsite, campers learn about our nation’s history, as well as outdoor skills like cooking over a fire! Campers gain a “better grasp of American History and a lot more respect for their hardworking ancestors.” And our campers have a lot of fun, too!
At Camp Flintlock, learn about early American history, from the Revolutionary War to the everyday Colonial world. Experience living like George Washington, Molly Pitcher, and Daniel Boone did in the 1700s. You won't just hear about history, you'll LIVE IT!
All of our programs are designed to promote a historical perspective while building character and having fun. To be enrolled as a camper, a child should be 9-15 years old. A session includes sleeping in a colonial tent, listening to historical readings Colonial Games, Tomahawk Throw, and more.
