    Overview

Embark on the ultimate adventure through the American West! Hike in Zion National Park, delight in the world’s most giant trees in Sequoia National Park, enjoy adventures in Yosemite National Park, whitewater raft the American River, learn how to surf in the Pacific, and take a tour of the Golden Gate Bridge and Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco!

For 21 days, students will explore the beautiful nature and make memories for a lifetime. During the day, they will climb the mountains and swim in the rivers. By night, they'll camp outdoors in comfortable tents provided by Bold Earth. Some of the most exciting activities included in the itinerary are:

    - rock climbing in Saint George, Utah

    - volunteer with the park rangers in Sequoia National Park, giving back to this unique ecosystem by assisting with clean-up and other conservation projects.

     - shitewater rafting the class IV rapids of the American River

    - learn to surf at Stinson Beach

    - last but not least, explore San Francisco including walking the entirety of the 1.7-mile-long Golden Gate Bridge

You'll complete approximately 8 hours of community service at Sequoia National Park and Marin County Parks.
