AU High School Summer Scholars lets rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors explore college-level interests online. In four weeks, students complete one-credit courses at their own pace, balancing academics with other commitments while engaging with expert faculty.
Flexible Online Learning: Self-paced courses include pre-recorded lectures, podcasts, documentaries, and faculty-led discussion boards. Faculty remain accessible via Canvas and virtual office hours.
Who Can Apply: Rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors with a 3.0 GPA or higher.
Time Commitment: Expect 5–10 hours per week for readings, lectures, writing assignments, and online discussions. Deadlines are enforced through Canvas.
