American Mime & Physical Theatre Summer Program For Teens Recently Updated

Unique summer opportunity for teens (ages 13–18) interested in movement, expression, and performance. Students will learn the foundational techniques of American Mime and physical storytelling — and each week ends with a Friday showcase where family and friends are invited to see what the group has been working on! 

American Mime Theatre is hosting a unique summer opportunity for teens (ages 13–18) interested in movement, expression, and performance. Participants will explore the foundational techniques of American Mime and physical storytelling in a fun, supportive environment. Each week concludes with a Friday showcase for family and friends! 

Students will learn core mime techniques that are essential for activities such as physical theater, dance, and acting. Furthermore, this program will increase self-confidence, improve listening and observation skills, generate ability to express oneself silently before an audience, enhance empathy and emotional awareness, and improve written and verbal reflection on non-verbal experiences.

Students will recieve hands-on training with professional AITS teaching artist Janet Carafa and other experts in fine arts education.

$900 — ONE WEEK (choose ANY one week)
