Overview
The College Choice was founded in 2003 to help students and their families successfully navigate the increasingly complex college admissions process. Since then I have worked with hundreds of students, helping them find the colleges that best fit their academic and social goals.
The College Choice, Ltd.'s College Consulting services include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Comprehensive review of the college admission process
- In-depth interviews with students and families to clarify needs and priorities
- Transcript evaluation
- Strategies for testing and test prep, including which test to take and when
- Creation of a college list that is unique to each student, including "match", "safety" and "reach" schools
- Consideration of Early Decision/Early Action options
- Organization of application requirements and deadlines
- Identification of appropriate summer programs and/or advice on how to make the most out of your summer
- Planning for college visits
- Preparation for admissions interviews
- Development of a College Resume
- Preparation of the applications packets, including the development of all college essays
