    Overview

The Online Math Center offers online math lessons for high school students. Our classes can help students hone their skills in a specialty area, from algebra and number theory to discrete mathematics and combinatorics. Our classes can help students hone their skills in a specialty area, from algebra and number theory to discrete mathematics and combinatorics.

On average, there are five students in each classroom. With two difficulty levels per grade, we’re able to ensure that each child is placed in a class that is both appropriately challenging and academically nurturing.

Our high school math program is designed to prepare students for the future steps in their studies or professional lives. Our goal is to give them a profound mathematical background which they will use in any sphere they are going to choose.

The OMC program provides students with the chance to put their math skills to use through activities and challenges. Our curriculum is based on an interactive, engaging approach. We do not believe that learning is a competition. Instead we expect each learner to work on their individual mindset and strive for self improvement.

Class duration varies depending on a student’s age and math level. For example, we mix activities with manipulatives (tools for active learning) to keep younger students engaged visually and mentally. Therefore, such a lesson might be longer than one for older students. Our class size is an average of 5 students with an expert teacher leading an interactive lesson. All classes are accompanied by interactive activities: crossword puzzles, pair matching games, bingo games, jigsaw puzzles, memory games, and many more.

Our teachers have backgrounds in mathematics and are highly passionate about the subject. They go through extensive training to teach according to our specific methodology and curriculum.
