    Overview

The mission of The Meadows School is to develop in its students a love of, and respect for, learning—inspiring them to seek knowledge independently and preparing them for higher academic pursuits.

The overriding mission of The Meadows School is to develop in its students a love of and respect for learning while at the same time inspiring them to seek knowledge independently and preparing them for higher academic pursuits. The high standards promoted and followed at the School recognize and attend to the various needs of its students as they find optimum intellectual, emotional, physical, and social challenge and development. Underlying the mission is the fundamental concept that education carries with it an obligation to self, family, and community, and that each student should become a compassionate and productive member of society.

Exposure to multiple experiences remains a primary focus. Each student is afforded liberal opportunity to participate in a full range of activities in an exceptionally nurturing, intentionally small, learning environment. The Meadows maintains highest academic, moral, and social standards which are sustained in the School's commitment to excellence in all aspects of student and campus life.
