Our mission is to develop the total student: academically through a challenging college-preparatory curriculum; socially through extracurricular activites, social events and community service; physically through interscholastic athletics and physical education;aesthetically through the fine arts.
Since 1984, Ridgecroft School has maintained accreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, which ensures strict standards regarding curriculum, faculty and staff preparation, physical facilities, and equipment. The faculty is supported by a media specialist, two learning specialists, and a guidance counselor.
Ridgecroft offers Advanced Placement courses in English, U.S. History, and Calculus and foreign language instruction in Spanish and Latin. Students may choose from a variety of electives, including art, band, yearbook, physical conditioning, and have the opportunity to compete in interscholastic athletic programs in soccer, tennis, volleyball, basketball, baseball, softball, cheerleading, golf, and hunter safety skills. Extracurricular activities include Key Club, Beta Club, Builders Club, Student Government, Battle of the Books, the Relaying Rams, and the Jammin Rams Pep Band, and others.
