    Overview

Northridge is an independent school for young men in grades 6-12. Built upon the foundation of a liberal arts curriculum, personal character formation, and collaboration with parents, Northridge encourages each student to pursue his studies with professional excellence.

Our aim is to help the men of Northridge to develop all their talents by taking part in the adventures in reasoning proposed by their teachers. We offer a formidable liberal arts curriculum which features four years of English, Religion, Math, Science, History, and Foreign Language. To complement these core courses, we offer selections in Journalism, Art, Band, Speech/Debate, Computers, and Competitive Sports. In addition eight Advanced Placement Exams are given which allow our upperclassmen to earn college credit before beginning college.

In addition to our college preparatory program, Northridge offers a variety of extra-curricular experience including several sports, chess, math club, drama club, yearbook and newspaper staff, band and a cappella choir. Many of our graduates have found their future vocations as a result of participation in an extracurricular activity.

An essential component of Northridge's mission is to offer education in the Catholic faith to any and all interested students. This religious formation addresses lifes most important questions and greatly assists parents who want an education rooted in faith for their sons. The Prelature of Opus Dei provides Northridge with chaplains to oversee the religion curriculum, celebrate Mass, administer the Sacraments, and occasionally teach. Catholic religion class is taught at each grade level.
