McDonogh is an independent, coeducational day and boarding school that currently enrolls 1,409 students in PK -12. Our strong academic, arts, and athletic programs offer life-altering opportunities for students. Learning is enhanced with top-notch facilities, including an innovation center, STEM building, two theatres, a riding hall, an Olympic-sized pool, and numerous playing fields. The school’s 800-acre campus also includes a 10-acre farm where students experience hands-on learning by tending the crops and harvesting produce for the dining hall and area food pantries.
McDonogh operates a fleet of 27 buses with stops in four counties (Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, and Howard) and Baltimore City. Five-day boarding is an option for Upper School students.
Established in 1873, McDonogh remains true to its founding mission, providing need-based scholarships through the generosity of loyal supporters.
