    Overview

    Laurel Hall School is a non-public school designed to provide education services to special needs students. Laurel Hall is a non-public Type I school designed to provide education services to students with special needs, including, but not limited to, emotional disabilities, autism or multiple handicaps that require sophisticated, highly structured and individualized special education services and needed psychiatric support services.

    The non-public school is part of the continuum of mental health services offered by Brook Lane. The program provides special education and related services consistent with each students Individualized Education Program (IEP). The program serves both male and female students ages 5-20 in grades 1 through 12. Students with secondary disabilities may be served. Accommodations will be made for individual learning styles. The student capacity is 90 students in Hagerstown and 45 students in Frederick.
