The British International School of Boston provides a broadly based and tailored British style education for students from Toddler to Year 13 (18 months through 12th Grade).

    International. Individual. Inspirational.

The British School of Boston (BSB) is a diverse, internationally focused learning community dedicated to developing a broad world view in our students. At the same time, the majority of our students are from families permanently living in the area, giving the school its strong roots in the local community. Serving over 400 students from toddlers through high school (ages 18 months through 18 years), BSB offers benchmarked, highly personalized learning in an academically rigorous and supportive setting. Our students are inspired to become engaged, active participants in their learning journey. BSB truly is International. Individual. Inspirational.

INTERNATIONAL: With students representing over 70 heritages, BSB has a unique international perspective. The global focus of our students education is rooted in the international curricula used: the National Curriculum for England, the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), the International Middle Years Curriculum (IMYC), the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). The International Baccalaureate offered by BSB is considered among the most elite high school diploma programs in the world. These students are considered highly prepared for colleges and universities in the US and abroad, due to the challenge, depth and breadth of the IB curriculum.

INDIVIDUAL: At BSB, we focus on learning, rather than on teaching. Each student is treated as a unique learner, supported and challenged in equal and appropriate measure. The faculty constantly monitors the progress of each and every student, adjusting and structuring lessons and feedback according to the students learning style. The result is an extraordinary level of academic accomplishment from involved and happy students.

INSPIRATIONAL: At BSB, our students are engaged in and excited about their own learning and development. They are supported by the benefits of traditional and progressive education as a means of inspiring and preparing them for the rest of the 21st century. The international education they receive today is aimed at creating the forward-thinking global citizens of tomorrow.
