    What is the Work and Train Program?

    It's the perfect blend of work experience and outdoor training! This 24-week program is split into two blocks, block one will see you gain paid work experience with an adventure tourism company and block two will have you learning outdoor skills. Based in Queenstown, New Zealand the outdoors will become your backyard, with rock climbing crags and hiking trails on your doorstep, it truly is the best place to learn outdoor skills!

    Why Should You Do The Work and Train Program?

    So you can gain hands-on work experience, travel within New Zealand and complete outdoor training qualifications. You'll finish the program with a strong resume as you showcase your 12-weeks of work experience, 12-weeks of outdoor training and your industry-recognised qualifications! Placing you in a position where you can work as an outdoor guide or instructor, or continue travelling through the world.

    Based in Queenstown, you'll spend your days hiking, rock climbing and exploring the Southern Alps. Hike the famous Routeburn Track, rock climb in W?naka, explore Aoraki Mt. Cook National Park, climb epic crags on the beach in Dunedin and so much more. Queenstown is known as the "Adventure Capital of the World", get ready and get excited to get outdoors!
