How long can I go for?

Expedition offers a 4, 7 or 10-week program at three different times of the year (Spring, Summer, & Fall).

The 10-week program is the most popular option as it provides you with the most extensive and culturally immersive experience. It is also the only Expedition that includes all three phases.

Up to Three phases

1. Community volunteering project: Work on projects focussed on finding sustainable solutions to issues such as poverty, low levels of education and food insecruity. Immerse yourself in remote communities and forge memories and bonds to last a lifetime.
2. Environmental volunteering project: You will play a crucial role in physical conservation efforts within national parks and private reserves. 
3. Adventure Leadership Trek: this challenging phase will take you on a journey of personal growth that will continue for the rest of your life.

Who can go?

One of the things that makes a Raleigh Expedition truly unique, is that you will be with people your age. It is only open to 17-24 year olds.

Our expeditions are challenging but we are here to support you from when you apply. All you need is an open mind, commitment and a desire to do good!
