Quest Overseas is dedicated to making a significant impact on small, disadvantaged communities and animal welfare in South America & Africa, as well as giving young people the exhilarating and hugely rewarding opportunity to contribute towards making this meaningful change possible. Amazing chances to travel too!
We are a Gap Year specialist organisation running 3 month Gap Year expeditions combining volunteer work and an expedition through Africa or South America, with the option of a language phase for South America teams. Quest Overseas also organise shorter summer adventures for 4-6 weeks that concentrate on either project work or an expedition, or a little of both. Team sizes are anything up to 16 students and are made up of 17 - 25 year olds that are usually on a Gap Year after school or are taking a summer break during university.
Current programs include:
Bolivia Gap Year 2016-- Join our gap year team in Bolivia and work on one of the most unique wildlife conservation projects on the planet. Spend a month working in the Inti Wara Yassi wild animal refuges, followed by an expedition through Bolivia and Peru.
Villa Maria Gap Year- Join our team in the shanty town of Villa Maria in Lima, Peru, giving thousands of children a summer holiday they will never forget. Then take on the Andes and Amazon in an adrenaline filled expedition through Peru and Bolivia.
Rwanda Summer-- 5 weeks taking part in a life changing project for communities in Kigali, working with local youth groups helping to improve livelihoods for families in greatest need. Option to trek with the gorillas after the project.
Malawi Summer Project-- 4 weeks working to support communities in their effort to provide a fighting chance to children orphaned by HIV.
Andean Expedition-- 6 weeks of adventure and challenge through Peru and Bolivia, taking on some of the most stunning areas of South America.
