The world is different today than it was just a few short months ago. Your expectations for what’s next may be changing as well. You may be adapting to virtual learning at home, and feel differently about your readiness for college in the fall.
Interlochen Arts Academy’s postgraduate gap year program is designed for students seeking an additional year in a high school setting to focus on greater artistic preparation before entering college, conservatory, university, or art school. As a postgrad student, you’ll receive personalized training to take your skills to the next level in addition to expert academic and college counseling to help you navigate the admission process and achieve your goals.
You’ll also have the opportunity to complete a variety of academic classes, including Advanced Placement courses and/or courses from the Indiana University Advanced College Project. Taught by Interlochen instructors, these courses provide students the opportunity to earn up to 12 college credits in English, history, and biology, and are transferable to any college or university in the United States.
Postgraduate students receive a certificate of attendance upon successful completion of their year at the Interlochen Arts Academy.
