Daily life in the "Monteverde" area offers students the possibility to enjoy forest hikes and experience the friendliness of the people and the "PURA VIDA" culture of Costa Rica.
We are one of the few private non-profit schools in Costa Rica. Our goal is to be a creative, inclusive, prosperous, and sustainable education center, which through partnerships and as part of the community, provides a well-rounded, nature-based education. 85% of our students are local, and of these, 55% benefit from our scholarship program.
For over 30 years, our school has provided high quality bilingual instruction with an emphasis on environmental education. We are currently working with levels PreK-6 and are focused on serving the students of Monteverde and the international community.
We are welcoming people that have some background or interest in education, sustainability or community development and are 18 years of age or older. Take off for as little as a semester to a whole academic year. Return home with lifelong memories and friends, practical experience, focus, and motivation.
Cost: $9,000/semester or $18,000/for the year (including homestay with room and board and school transport)
