    Overview

Our Exploration Courses provide students the opportunity to experience WashU from home. Through these online, noncredit courses, students explore a topic or subject through a series of interactive activities, lectures and discussions with pre-college peers from around the world.

Exploration Courses are offered asynchronously. This means students will not have set required times to attend class. However students should not mistake this flexibility with a self-paced course. Each course will include discussions, lectures, readings and assignments that will need to be completed by specific deadlines.  Students should expect about 30-40 hours of course activities.

This program is ideal for students who are looking for the flexibility of an online experience and want to build college readiness skills. Courses are offered year-round and scholarship assistance is available.
