Lumiere’s mission is to provide world-class research opportunities for students around the world. In the Lumiere Research Scholar Program, students work 1-on-1 with a researcher from a top university to produce an independent research project. The program is selective in its process.
Three types of programs are offered:
The Individual Research Program is a 12-week program which produces a college-level paper on a topic of interest. It includes 9 sessions with a research mentor and 2 sessions with a writing coach.
The Premium Research & Publications Program includes 3 to 4 months of research followed by 1 to 2 months of publication time. The end result is published in a high school or college-level journal.
The third program is the Lumiere Research Fellowship which spans 6 to 12 months and results in a highly selective research competition or publication.
