    Overview

    B-BAY Academic Year Program at UC Berkeley's prestigious Haas School of Business prepares rising 10th-12th graders from all over the world to study business and entrepreneurship. Students are taught by BerkeleyHaas Faculty, PhD Candidates, MBA Alumni, and Entrepreneurs. They are supported by undergraduate students of UC Berkeley as they work through exploratory online coursework and extra-academic activities during the fall and spring.

    During the fall semester, students will learn about business fundamentals, exploring:

    • Business Principles
    • Business Model Canvas
    • Entrepreneurial Thinking
    • Strategic Leadership

    During spring, students will test their business hypotheses through:

    • Lean Launchpad Canvas
    • Design Thinking
    • Prototyping
    • Industry Mentor Matching

    Students will also learn about current business trends like Artificial Intelligence, Sustainability, Impact Entrepreneurship, etc. At the end of spring, students will present their protype in teams. 

    Winning teams get an opportunity to be mentored by BerkeleyHaas faculty, a website feature, and access to the entrepreneurial ecosystem of UC Berkeley.

    Gold Cohort meets Mon/Wed between 4:30 PM - 5:45 PM (PST)

    Blue Cohort meets Tue/Thu between 4:30 PM - 5:45 PM (PST)

    Oski Cohort meets Fri between 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM (PST)
