    Overview

Students in ASCEND receive service in three main areas: academic supports, social strategy supports, and daily living transitions. The program is mindful of skills needed as students transition to college life and general education coursework as well as later transitions for advanced coursework in their major and career planning.

We are dedicated to supporting students with autism through the ASCEND program, which aims to promote self-confidence, self-advocacy, and increasing independence.

ASCEND helps students identify their strengths and areas for growth, equipping them with the skills and strategies needed to succeed academically, socially, and adapt effectively to university life. Through evidence-based practices and individualized support, the program enhances each students' capacity for success within the college journey and beyond.
