    Overview

Rowan University is "a Carnegie-classified national doctoral research institution dedicated to excellence in undergraduate education." Within the larger University, the Edelman College of Communications & Creative Arts empowers students to be storytellers, critical thinkers, engaged citizens, and artists. Coursework emphasizes high-impact experiential learning and gives students tools to discover passions, develop skills and prepare for careers that make positive impacts on the world.

Through each of the college's six departments, faculty help students to shape, create, and tell stories at Rowan and in the larger community and world. Programs include (but are certainly not limited to) advertising, art education, esports, journalism, and sports communication/media. CCCA alumni go on to shape the world in so many ways: they "create movies, radio programming, and television; they run prestigious public relations and advertising firms; they have published books, chapters, and other works; they have become scholars and leaders at other universities throughout the country, and they are committed, creative teachers throughout New Jersey and beyond." With CCCA's hands-on experience guided by expert faculty, it's difficult not to go on to change the world for the better.
