    OCC is the largest of Michigan's 28 community colleges and the 25th largest in the nation. OCC is a multi-campus system with five attractive, well-maintained campuses strategically located throughout Oakland County - Auburn Hills, Highland Lakes in Waterford, Orchard Ridge in Farmington Hills, Royal Oak, and Southfield. All our campuses are the size of an average stand-alone community college. However, we take pride in our emphasis on student-centered, personalized instruction. All programs are taught by a dedicated and professional faculty whose primary goal is to foster student success and fulfillment.

    OCC is proud to offer 160 certificate and degree programs, including university transfer degrees in liberal arts, science, and business. OCC's unmatched array of career offerings ranges from one of the most well-regarded nursing programs in Michigan to an award-winning culinary program boasting many renowned executive chefs in the region and nationally. Students intending to transfer to four-year schools make up nearly half of OCC's student body.
