Nicolet is a public community college serving Northern Wisconsin. The College offers one- and two-year career diplomas and degrees, liberal arts university transfer studies, and a comprehensive continuing education program.
Nicolet proudly serves the Northwoods community from its Rhinelander campus situated on the shores of Lake Julia, and from outreach centers located within the Nicolet District. It is one of 16 colleges in the Wisconsin Technical College System.
Nicolet is the center of higher education in the Northwoods, offering you more than 70 associate degrees, diplomas, certificates, and apprenticeship programs as well as a University Transfer Liberal Arts program. We know life is busy, so in addition to traditional daytime classes we offer flexible formats including online, part-time, and evening classes. It is also one of only three state technical colleges offering both occupational training and university-level liberal arts education. Faculty and staff at Nicolet are experts in their field and are passionate about your success. In addition to academic programs, Nicolet offers Continuing Education courses, the Outdoor Adventure Series, and Learning in Retirement.
