    Montana Tech, located in Butte, Montana, provides a challenging education for success-oriented students who have the passion and drive to become outstanding.

    Montana Tech is comprised of The School of Mines and Engineering, The College of Letters and Science, the Graduate School and Highlands College. All of Montana Tech's four year majors are in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) disciplines.

    School of Mines and Engineering
    The School of Mines and Engineering houses the heritage programs that gave Montana Tech its name and foundation for excellence in the sciences and STEM. Montana Tech offers degrees in eleven of the most sought after engineering fields in the world. Programs include Electrical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Freshman Engineering Program, General Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geophysical Engineering, Metallurgical & Materials Engineering, Mining Engineering, Petroleum Engineering and Safety, Health & Industrial Hygiene.

    College of Letters and Science
    The College of Letters, Sciences and Professional Studies is comprised of several science and technology majors ranging from Business to Pre-Professional Health. As a student in the CLSPS you will be exposed to real-world research projects while working closely with your professors and classmates. Programs include Biological Sciences, Business and Information Technology, Chemistry, Computer Science, General Science, Health Care Informatics, Liberal Studies, Mathematical Sciences, Network Technology, Nursing, Professional and Technical Communication, Software Engineering, Statistics, Pre-Professional Health and Secondary Education.

    Highlands College
    Highlands College specializes in Associate Degrees and Certificate programs that provide you with the job skills needed to enter or re-enter the workforce quickly. As a Highlands College student, you can enjoy the traditional college experience while earning your degree in half the time, and at a quart of the cost. We aim to provide you with the program opportunities in some of the fastest growing fields in the country, including as Associate of Science degree that will prepare you to transfer into any Bachelors degree program in Montana.
