Los Angeles Southwest College (LASC) service area includes Inglewood, Hawthorne, Gardena, Unincorporated Westmont, and West Athens, California. The LASC Skill Certificate in Digital Graphics includes courses on Web Multimedia for the Office, Microcomputer Office Applications: Web Page Design, Introduction to Adobe Photoshop for the Office, Introduction to Digital Video, and Cooperative Education.

We offer a range of programs that meet community needs, including college transfer services, occupational training, general, transitional and continuing education, and community services.
Los Angeles Southwest College was established in 1967, two years after the Watts Rebellion, in response to complaints of both officials and citizens that not enough was being done to educate the area's mostly African American population. The college is the only community college in South Central Los Angeles.
