King University is a Presbyterian, master's-level comprehensive university offering more than 80 majors, minors, pre-professional degrees and concentrations in fields such as business, digital media, nursing, forensic science, education, and humanities.
Student success is defined as academic achievement; engagement in educationally purposeful activities; satisfaction; acquisition of desired knowledge, skills and competencies; persistence; attainment of educational objectives; and post-college performance (Kuh, et al., 2006). Built on the framework of the Appreciative Inquiry Model, King University assigns a Student Success Specialist to all traditional undergraduate students. Students have access to five schools during their time at KU: the College of Arts and Sciences (including the Peeke School of Christian Mission), the School of Business, Economics, and Technology, the School of Education, the School of Nursing, and the School of Health and Professional Sciences.
Undergraduate students have the chance to participate in real-world research and work with experts "who explore the connection between faith and culture." On-campus and online degree options are offered.
In addition to achieving academic excellence whil pursuing one's career dreams, KU students are surrounded by opportunities to have fun and get to know their peers. There are clubs, activities, and adventures both on and off the King University campus.
